We recently closed out one of our most impactful and exciting Collaborate conferences yet. Every year, we've built on what came before, and this year, the eighth annual conference felt especially inspiring. It was packed with information, including how Wrike is pioneering a new way forward in the age of AI.
To that end, our CMO Christine Royston and CRO George Saadeh had an interesting conversation about the clear AI workflow advantage that Wrike is building with AI plus human intelligence.
We touched base with Christine and George to get the lowdown on organizational intelligence and to learn more about Wrike's AI Workflow Advantage Framework, which launched with a new free workbook.
Q: What inspired Wrike to focus on the intersection of AI and human intelligence in workflows?
Christine: We have been powering workflows for teams of five to 5,000+ for the past two decades, so we've seen a massive transformation in the work management space. AI is not only the recent one but possibly the biggest transformation we'll see in our lifetime. We've been building AI into our platform since 2017 to automate workflows and free teams up to focus on impactful work. There has been a lot of discussion within our teams about how AI and humans can work more effectively together. The big picture became clear for us: human ingenuity and AI are reshaping what's possible, but only when applied with the right context.
Our question was — do organizations have the context they need to make AI + human intelligence work?
Well, earlier this year, our AI PulseCheck research gave us the answer. Over 1,000 full-time knowledge workers responded to our AI PulseCheck and helped us get a better understanding of how work is actually flowing today. Put simply, we learned that things are still chaotic in the digital workspace, and context is falling through the cracks.
That's why we're focusing on helping organizations move from chaos to clarity by creating workflows where humans and AI work side by side. For example, as CMO, my team and I rely on data and context to spot customer pain points and turn them into strategies that unlock growth and drive transformation. Organizational intelligence, or the convergence of humans and AI, can deliver that type of context.
Q: What do the findings reveal about the current state of work?
Christine: The results show that work is being rewired in real time, but organizations are struggling to keep up because they don't have the right processes in place to leverage context. While 74% of employees say their company treats knowledge as a valuable asset, many admit that critical context still slips through the cracks due to scattered tools and missed handoffs.

In short, organizations value knowledge but often fail to capture or connect it — and when knowledge gets lost, clarity suffers. That's why context is so important. Clarity isn't optional anymore; it's the foundation for delivering outcomes that scale.
Q: How are customers overcoming these context challenges, and what impact does it have?
George: Clarity is fundamental to modern work. When context is missing or incomplete, projects stall and opportunities are missed. Many new Wrike customers come to us because their teams spend hours chasing details that should have been captured up front.
For example, Syneos Health found that fragmented intake and buried approvals slowed their projects and created duplicate work. By embedding Wrike AI features into their processes, they ensured context traveled with the work, improving and amplifying visibility into tasks and projects.
The impact was dramatic: delays dropped, launches sped up, and teams could focus on outcomes instead of bottlenecks. Across industries, we see the same thing playing out. When you close the context gap, momentum follows. Teams accelerate delivery, reduce escalations, and achieve more predictable outcomes.
Q: What is Organizational Intelligence, and why does it matter?
George: Organizational Intelligence is the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for speed and automation, and Human Intelligence (HI) for creativity and strategy. Here is how we view it.

When these come together, organizations gain the ability to proceed with both insight and agility. This is the power every leader can harness: work smarter by capturing knowledge at the source, move faster by eliminating bottlenecks, and scale success by turning individual wins into repeatable best practices.
Q: How does Wrike's platform support this vision?
George: Wrike's platform is really based on the combination of human intelligence and AI. Our Work Graph™ is our proprietary data model that serves as the backbone of our predictive and adaptive AI technologies. It takes human-created tasks and projects and uses AI to process vast amounts of structured and unstructured data — then it puts that data to use to help guide product decisions, sharpen predictions, and enable AI to move beyond simple automation into true orchestration.
Our Work Graph™ processes billions of work events every year and leverages collective insights across 20,000 organizations. It captures structured and unstructured data, including the real-world flow of projects, tasks, approvals, and outcomes, powering our platform with a living system of organizational knowledge.
Q: What are the main concerns employees have about using AI at work?
Christine: Our recent research into connected intelligence found that 64% of employees work for companies offering an AI assistant, and over half use it daily. However, 87% still have concerns about accuracy, privacy, and, in particular, context.

When information is missing, projects stall, decisions are delayed, and teams end up duplicating work. If information isn't connected, clarity disappears — and automating scattered work only creates scattered results, faster.
That's why we keep talking about context and clarity; with both enabled, employees can find the information they need in a secure way, and trust that it's accurate and up to date.
Q: Now, for the question everyone has been waiting for … What is the AI Workflow Advantage Framework, and how does it help?
George: We were excited about launching this. The AI Workflow Advantage Framework is a practical model based on our Wrike AI research, designed to help organizations move from chaos to clarity. It involves three stages:
- Observe: See how work really flows and surface hidden gaps. Capturing context at the source helps teams work smarter.
- Disrupt: Redesign workflows so humans and AI operate side by side. Embed AI to handle repetitive tasks, freeing people for higher-value work.
- Scale: Operationalize clarity across the enterprise by choosing a successful AI pilot project to begin replicating across new teams.
Scaling clarity turns improvements into transformation, and every improvement becomes part of a permanent memory, compounding innovation. That's why it's important to ascertain how new, clearer, AI-powered workflows can be rolled out across the organization.
This framework helps leaders close context gaps, streamline processes, and turn wins into Organizational Intelligence. I invite you to have a look for yourself and start leveraging the framework today.
Q: How can organizations get started with the framework?
Christine: You don't have to wait! The full framework is packaged in a self-guided workbook you can download and start using immediately. It's available for you to apply today and powerful enough to drive impact across your company. The future belongs to organizations that embed AI into their workflows responsibly, securely, and at scale — and Wrike is ready to help you do just that.
