Our template is easy to use and gets you started quickly! It serves as your guide through your launch from start to finish. A product launch plan includes:
Step 1: Pre-launch
When it comes to product launch planning, the pre-launch stage is just as important as the launch itself. Taking care of each essential step to get you and your team started off right helps take the stress out of pre-launch plans.
Wrike’s new product launch plan template helps ensure no steps are missed. You can plan for important steps, such as setting a date and time for the launch, designing how the product will be packaged, and pricing the product, all within the template.
Within the pre-launch folder of Wrike’s template, align your team to create all the necessary content with ease and clarity, including things like FAQs and user guides.
Ensure success with each new product launch plan and never miss essential steps like conducting internal training, updating sales with key product information, and testing product functionality.
Step 2: Product launch
The product launch folder of Wrike’s product launch plan template helps guide you and your team through each task you’ll need to complete for your new product launch.
Wrike’s end-to-end functionality lets you carry out each step of the process with ease and transparency. Set a final go/no-go meeting for the launch, and then launch, distribute, and release your product. Coordinate the production and release of launch day materials like marketing content, promotions, and demos.
Staff forecasting is also essential to each product release. Wrike’s product launch plan template will allow you to easily forecast all the necessary sales and customer service staff needed to meet the expected demand.
No launch should happen without the proper framework for analyzing its success. Capture valuable data on how the launch is going, like the number of inquiries, returns, sales, etc.
Step 3: Post-launch
The product launch is finished, and your work is done, right? Not necessarily. Once you and your team finish a successful new product launch, post-launch activities should be ready for the team to carry out immediately.
Wrike’s launch plan template outlines some important steps you’ll need to make sure your post-launch goes as smoothly as possible. Monitor customer issues and track and resolve user-identified bugs, and capture lessons learned and how to improve the next product launch.
You’ll also want to be able to solicit user feedback and testimonials to use for future promotion, which the post-launch folder within the template will help you do with ease.
Dive deeper into your analytics by comparing your metrics to your goals and assess how the launch went. Turn your data into business results by retargeting key potential customers who showed interest in your product but didn’t convert.
